Ryan Today / Organic Meditations

A guided experience composed privately just for you

What if the voice in your headphones actually knew you?

Organic Meditations are custom guided meditations composed around who you are, what you’re experiencing, and what you’re trying to make possible.

You do not need to know exactly what you want or need yet. Most people don’t. We’ll find the starting point together.

Up to two private 60–90 minute Clarity & Composition Sessions, as needed. One original 20–30 minute experience. One 4–5 minute Drop-In created from the same composition.

The limitation built into mass meditation

It was finished before they knew you existed.

There are millions of guided meditations for sleep, confidence, focus, grief, creativity, stress, performance, and nearly anything else a person might want help with.

Some are beautiful. Some are useful. Their creators still had to finish them before they knew who would eventually press play.

They could not know what you were carrying, how you naturally describe it, what has already helped, what immediately pulls you out of an experience, or what you are trying to accomplish now.

Organic Meditations begins with a person, then finds the meditation.

The part that cannot be mass-produced

Being known well enough to compose for.

Before I record anything, I pay attention.

I want to understand where you are, where you are trying to go, and what has meaning for you. I listen for your language, memories, sensory preferences, rhythms, images, resistance points, and the details that keep returning while we talk.

The goal matters. So does the person who has the goal.

The meditation isn’t personalized after it’s made. It couldn’t have been made without you.

The process

Conversation becomes composition.

The work begins with one or two private Clarity & Composition Sessions, as needed. We take enough time to understand what matters before I build something that belongs to this chapter of your life.

01

We sit together.

We begin with a private 60–90 minute conversation, with room for a second session if we need it. You can arrive with a clear goal, a challenge you cannot quite name, or simply the sense that something needs attention. This is where 25-plus years of coaching experience becomes useful. I help you find language for what is happening, what matters, and what you want to make possible.

02

I compose.

I write for your attention and build the sound world around the experience. Imagery, breath, repetition, sound, music, and silence are all available to the composition, and each is used where it belongs to suit you.

03

You receive the work.

Your finished Organic Meditation runs about 20–30 minutes. I also create a 4–5 minute Drop-In that returns you to the core of the same composition. This becomes a private piece of work you can return to for years, anytime you need it.

What could yours be for?

Something you are trying to make possible.

Some people arrive with a clear goal. Others arrive with a challenge, a transition, a feeling they cannot quite name, or simply the sense that something needs attention. Most people do not have the whole thing figured out before we begin. The composition grows from what we discover together.

Inside the studio

The room around the voice matters.

A meditation can live among rain, desert night, water, wind, a quiet tonal field, or almost complete silence. Some environments preserve spatial detail that opens up beautifully on headphones.

How it’s made

I build the experience all the way through.

I write it, perform it, record it through a professional studio chain, shape the acoustic environment, edit the details, and mix the final piece myself.

The equipment matters because intimate listening exposes breath, distance, resonance, silence, and every small shift in the voice. The environment matters because it becomes part of the place where the meditation happens.

I don’t know what your meditation is yet.

You may not know either.

Most people don’t. You can come to me with a clear goal, a problem you can describe, a transition, a feeling you cannot quite name, or simply the sense that something in your life needs attention.

Part of my work for more than 25 years has been helping people find language for what they are experiencing, what matters, and what they are trying to move toward. Sometimes clarity itself changes the way a problem looks. Sometimes the real subject appears underneath the first one.

We take the time we need to find the right starting point before I compose anything. If that takes a second conversation, your commission includes it.

Why Ryan

I’ve spent most of my adult life studying the human instrument.

My work has moved through hypnosis, voice, breath, sound, attention, interoception, sensory awareness, language, music, performance, story, and the ways human beings experience themselves from the inside.

I kept following those threads because I am fascinated by what changes when attention moves, when language lands differently, when sound reaches us before we have explained it, and when a person becomes more available to their own experience.

Organic Meditations is where those threads finally meet.

A few useful questions

FAQ

What if I don’t know what I want my meditation to be about?

That is completely workable, and it is where many people begin. You do not need to figure it out before we meet. Some people come with a specific goal. Others come with a problem, a transition, a feeling they cannot quite name, or simply the sense that something needs attention. Helping people clarify what they are experiencing and articulate what they want has been part of my work as a coach for more than 25 years. Your commission includes up to two private Clarity & Composition Sessions if we need the extra time before I begin composing.

Do I need experience meditating?

No. You do not need to know how to meditate, visualize, breathe in a particular pattern, or sit in a particular way. Those are all things I can account for while I build the experience.

Is this hypnosis?

I may draw from techniques I learned through hypnosis, along with voice, breath, sensory attention, imagery, pacing, music, and other forms of guided experience. Organic Meditation does not follow a standardized hypnosis protocol.

What if I cannot visualize?

That is useful information for me. People imagine through different sensory channels. The composition can work with sound, sensation, movement, language, memory, spatial awareness, and other forms of attention.

Can I ask for something specific?

Yes. Your intention gives the work direction. I will also use what I learn about you to decide how that intention can become an experience you are likely to return to.

Will mine include music, binaural audio, or specific frequencies?

It might. I use those materials when they fit the composition. Some meditations may have a rich acoustic environment. Others may need little more than voice and silence.

Can this replace medical or mental health care?

Organic Meditations can be created around what you are living through. I do not diagnose conditions or promise clinical outcomes. If you need medical or mental health care, the meditation can sit alongside appropriate professional support.
